An indication of the second stage of becoming Afal is the need to edit everything which may directly or indirectly refer to you. Or in some cases, not at all. This can manifest itself as wiki vandalism, posting platitudinal responses to IRC conversations and generally shouting out stupid shit at people in the street.
While not the most serious stage of becoming Afal this can cause serious difficulty in social situations and obstruct the ability to make lasting personal friendships. The affected may appear to be slightly paranoid and blissfully unaware of any subtext present in normal discourse and cause irritation to other unaffected parties.
