The above statement isn't racist or anything. No, not at all. Calling 270 million people fat and stupid because of their nationality is perfectly acceptable in this day and age.
I dont think its racists to call a nation where 64% of the population is clinically obese "fat". Especially where it means that there fatness directly contributes to the rest of the world's diet, culture, agriculture. I think voices and eyebrows should be raised when more than half of a massive country have there health endangered by overeating whilst large chunks of the developing world suffer for the opposite reason. Doesn't seem fair to me, my mum always taught me to share.

If I were you I would have gone for the far more valid point that there were revolutions in futurama. Amongst them the uprising of the sewer mutants, and fry's reclamation of his own body from the worms (contracted from the truck stop sandwich). But hey.
