Ingredients

Method

  1. Make BolognaiseSauce
  2. Put a 1/8th of a block of butter in a saucepan over a low heat
  3. Once melted sprinkle and stir in flour a little at a time until the flour and butter are coming away from the side of the pan and rolling a ball (this is called a roule, I think)
  4. Add a dash of hot water and stir in
  5. Add a dash of milk and stir in
  6. Keep adding hot water and milk in roughly equal amounts a bit at time and stirring until it looks like a cheese sauce consistency
  7. Add half of the grated cheese and the cottage cheese
  8. Add a tea spoon of english mustard and salt & pepper
  9. If the cheese has made it go to thick, add some milk/water
  10. Grease a large ovendish with butter
  11. If your pasta nees pre boiling do it now
  12. Put a layer of bolognaise sauce in the dish
  13. Put a layer of pasta on it then bolognaise sauce topped with cheese sauce
  14. Put down another layer of pasta then more bolognaise then cheese sauce
  15. Put down a final layer of pasta, pour remainder of cheese sauce over the top
  16. Sprinkle with the rest of the grated cheese and put in the oven at 200 deg C till it goes crispy on top
