Random chinese like curry, with BEANS (VEGAN)
Please note Ultimas taste may vary greatly from that of a normal human.
Serves INFINITE (probably 2 hungry people) or one Ultima and then a little microwave box for work dinner the next day ^___^
Main Ingredients
- If non vegan version get some ham, left over chicken or something...
- 1x large can of mixed pulses/lentils/other legumeee stuff.
- 1x small can of sweetcorn.
- Handful of frozen petit pois (branded). (NOT skanky tinned own brand "garden" peas)
- 1x medium onion (large if for more people DUR)
- Mushrooms, the small button field mushrooms are fine, though I guess some of the more exotic oyster ones would be fun.
- Kettle of boiling water.
- Couscous/rice/noodles/pasta whatever you want to go with it... I use couscous because it's easy!
Random stuff
- Either a flavoured oil like sesame or just some olive/sunflower oil.
- Original Chinese Curry Sauce paste. (I get a tub of the GoldFish branded stuff from the local delicatessen)
- Small pinch of balti curry powder.
- Fresh corriander to taste. (the fresh stuff is powerful)
- For best results either have an old jar of marmite handy, or a teaspoon of marmite.
- Light soy sauce.

Other Stuff To Try
- Add a little-tiny-bit of miso to get a sourer taste.
- A couple of drops of malt vinegar work well to.
- Add other stew stuff like celery.
- Bamboo shoots and water chesnuts might be nice.
