NeonGenesisEvangelion, or Eva is a 26 episode anime series produced by GAINAX after a four year hiatus.
It deservingly struck massive fame and contempt and is still very much talked about. Eva also has two movies named 'Death and Rebirth' and 'End of Evangelion'. These are different edits of the final two episodes and are the pinnacle of contention between fans.
