[edit] Flights in detail

Passengers travelling from these airports listed above [includes Luton], are therefore permitted to carry ONE piece of cabin baggage through airport security search point which must not exceed a maximum length of 45 cm, width of 35 cm and depth of 16 cm (17.7" x 13.7" x 6.2" approx). For passengers to be able to make an easy comparison, this is equivalent in size to a standard lap-top bag or briefcase.

The Department for Transport has given the following advice to passengers:

No liquids of any type are permitted through the airport security search point, other than the following items:

Prescription medicines in liquid form sufficient and essential for the flight (e.g. diabetic kit), as long as verified as authentic

Baby milk and liquid baby food (the contents of each bottle or jar must be tasted by the accompanying passenger).

NOTE: The definition of liquids includes gels, pastes, lotions, liquid/solid mixtures and the contents of pressurised containers, e.g. toothpaste, hair gel, drinks, soups, syrups, perfume, deodorant, shaving foam, aerosols, etc.

At Security search points,

To help progress through security search points, passengers are encouraged not to include items capable of containing liquids (e.g. bottles, flasks, tubes, cans, plastic containers etc.) in their cabin baggage.

All laptops and large electrical items (e.g. large hairdryer) must be removed from the bag and placed in a tray so that such items neither obscure nor are obscured by the bag.

Pushchairs and walking aids are permitted but must be x-ray screened. Wheelchairs are permitted but must be thoroughly searched.

[edit] =The moriarti-train

I have only one thing to say: you guys know that Budapest is not BUCHAREST and that u have to take a train from Budapest. I am passing through Budapest on Wednesday 16th August with my car: I should have room for 3 people. Moriarty.

[edit] The other train

Print out this map.

Passengers are taken by a direct bus service from Terminals 1 and 2, called the Bus 200 to Köbánya-Kispest metro terminal. The new service from BKV adjusts much better to the passenger traffic at the airport: it is larger so bigger luggages can be transported; it operates more frequently; and it operates for longer hours provideing a link between the city and the airport even after mindnight and at early dawn.

Bus 93 operates from Terminal 1 to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro Station. By the 'blue’ (3) Metro you can reach Deák Ferenc Square in the City in 20 minutes. Public Transportation Means can be used for a fare: the one-way through-ticket costs HUF 185 (50 cents) [210 HUF when buying on the bus from the driver].
