Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth.. Home to Scandals. This club is little more than a glorified cellar. The beer is watered down,and the regulars are underage goths and Emo kids. They are all depressed, and regard newcomers with the kind of "you're not from round these parts are you.." suspicion usually exhibited in welsh villages which have'nt had any visitors from the "outside" for fifty years..
I suspect that may of the regulars of this nighclub have webbed feet.
Goths love it, mostly becuase they are all depressed..and my god, it is depressing.
I've been running an indie night there on a Thursday for many years and it does very well.
(obviously, I would say that... but it does)
No goths, and very few emo kids, but lots of indie kids. Who seem to have plenty of fun (I've even got the pictures on my website to prove it, lots of people smiling and generally looking rather happy - the address is quoted below).
As for goths... I used to run a goth night there on a Sunday, but it shut owing to a severe lack of goths.
